    Notice of Intent to Grant Partially Exclusive Patent License;
    Research International, Inc.

    SUMMARY: The Department of the Navy hereby gives notice of its intent
    to grant to Research International, Inc., a revocable, nonassignable,
    partially exclusive license in the United States to practice the
    Government owned inventions described in U.S. Patents Nos. 5,061,857
    entitled ``Waveguide-Binding Sensor for use with Assays'' issued
    October 29, 1991, and 5,430,813 entitled ``Mode-Matched, Combination
    Taper Fiber Optic Probe,'' issued July 4, 1995 in the field of bioassay
    analyses.
    Anyone wishing to object to the grant of this license has 60 days
    from the date of this notice to file written objections along with
    supporting evidence, if any. Written objections are to be filed with
    the Office of Naval Research, ONR OOCC, Ballston Tower One, 800 North
    Quincy Street, Arlington, Virginia 22175-5660.
